After 40 Years Of Failing To Lose Weight
I’ve Finally Figured Out What I Need To Do!
I can remember back in 1970 when I was in the Navy @176 pounds, my goal was to get under 170 pounds… and I had muscles back then.
Then a couple of years later I went back to the NYPD as one of NYs Finest, hitting the scale at 180 pounds. I am still in pretty good shape, but I gotta lose at least 10 pounds. Never happened. In 1980, I hit 190 pounds. Then in 1990, I hit the magic # 200 pounds!
There is no way I will stay at 200 pounds, and I was right. Come 2000, I go over 210 pounds. Today… 41 years later and I’m tipping the scale at 227.6 pounds.
So here’s my new strategy.
I need to be 100% TOTALLY COMMITTED. Just saying it is not enough.
It can’t be me just telling some friends and relatives. That never worked. In fact, this past weekend sitting down to New Years dinner, I mention that I was going to lose 40 pounds by my birthday, June 14th and I got a pretty good laugh. It was pretty funny, I laughed myself.
So here’s my TOTALLY COMMITTED plan of action.
Starting Wednesday, January 5th, I will start a video journal on my weight loss journey. The videos will be short and I will post them every 3 – 5 days. See you on Wednesday.

I am jacked up. If you’ve been following me, then you know I have been struggling to lose weight. Well, that has all changed (I hope – I hope). Because I found it… and not to worry – I am not trying to sell you anything. I found a book – and since Monday I lost 2.6 pounds!
